Kind of a Big Deal.

Our entire dossier should officially be in EE early next week. We sent all but one paper over a week and a half ago so the team could start translating it. After much hair pulling, tears shed, and many a phone calls, we received the LAST piece of our dossier this last Saturday. So, off we sent it as well. Soon, once our dossier is translated, the team can submit it to the courts for us. THEN... We get a travel date! Travel is usually about 6-8 weeks post submitting. Will you pray with us that ours is more toward  the 6 week mark? That would put us traveling mid July most likely, and home at the beginning of August. This mama does NOT want to miss Trenner's first day of kindergarten.... I remember getting the list of dossier items thinking we were NEVER going to get it done. But with much prayer, many do-overs, LOTS of 'patience', a few tears, and many blessings from God, we made it. Praise Him.

Where we are and adding to the give away!!

Ok, so a lot of you have asked where we are in the process and when we'll be traveling. Right now our dossier is ONE paper away from being complete! You guys, we've been working on the dossier {which, really, is just a HUGE packet of paperwork that we've had collect, get correct signatures, get notarized and appostilled} since November of last year! Crazy to think we're almost done with it! I didn't think we'd EVER get there! Once our dossier is complete, we'll mail it off to EE. There, super awesome people who work with Reece's Rainbow will begin translating it and then they'll submit it. At that point, we'll get our travel date. Right now travel dates are anywhere between 6-10 weeks after submitting. So, there we are. Most likely we'll be traveling late June/July, but who knows! Adoption is NEVER predictable! Right now, we're about $7,000 away from being fully funded. It completely amazes me to see where we started and what we started with, to seeing where the Lord has brought us and what He's provided! It leaves me in awe.....
